Intraoral Cameras
Our intraoral camera is a small, handheld device that fits comfortably into the mouth and allows us to take high-resolution images of the teeth, gums, and hidden parts of the oral cavity that normally can’t be seen with the naked eye. By displaying these images on a nearby monitor, we’re able to get a much better look at the mouth compared to a traditional visual exam, allowing us to catch potential problems even sooner and take care of them before a patient even notices them!
All-Digital X-Rays
To help us achieve optimal results, our dental office is equipped with an all-digital x-ray system. In addition to capturing much sharper images and taking less time to develop compared to traditional film, they also expose our patients (and our team!) to 90% less radiation! These digital images are also much simpler to store than physical ones, making them easy to reference so we can accurately monitor long-term trends in someone’s dental health.
